Overview Sailun Tire Americas Big Data / Business Intelligence Analyst Position Reporting To BI Manager The Big Data / BI Analyst is responsible for integrating data from multiple sources, designing enterprise-level data models, cleansing, transforming, and analyzing data, and developing dashboards and reports. Essential Functions / Responsibilities Design, build, deploy and maintain Big Data and BI solutions using platforms that support tabular models, reporting tools, and data integration. Debug, monitor, and troubleshoot BI solutions; maintain and support data analytics platforms. Create and manage tools to store data (e.g., relational databases, tabular models). Evaluate and improve existing BI systems; collaborate with local and headquarter teams to integrate systems. Develop and execute database queries and stored procedures; analyze and cleanse data. Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting; effectively present BI solutions to end users and stakeholders and provide training. Optimize and enhance BI processes and systems to support better business decisions. Lead requirements gathering and review sessions; translate business needs into technical specifications. Develop and update technical and user documentation. Skills and Qualifications Proficiency in SQL languages (e.g., T-SQL, MySQL); experience with SSIS, data warehouse modeling, data quality assurance and data governance. Proficiency in Apache Doris Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) and Apache Impala. Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Data Warehouses and Data Marts. Strong knowledge of data warehouse design principles (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining. In-depth understanding of database management systems, SSAS Tabular models, ETL frameworks, and DAX language. Understanding of Big Data technology architecture (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Impala). Knowledge of Enterprise ERP systems (e.g., Navision, SAP), their functions and interconnections. Excellent communication skills; able to interact effectively with business and technical groups; ability to operate in both team and independent environments. Required Education and Experience BSc/BA/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field Minimum 1-2 years experience as a BI Developer/Analyst or Data Scientist and proficiency in Power BI and related tools (DAX, SSRS) Experience with BI analytical and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, PowerPivot) and Excel Proficiency in SQL queries and procedures, SSIS, data analysis, validation, data cleansing tools and processes Fluency in Mandarin is an asset Employment Details Employment type: Full-time Location: Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada #J-18808-Ljbffr
