We are currently seeking an energetic and charismatic professional to join our Business Development Team in Western Canada. This position is based on a flexible hybrid work model which will include working from home or remotely and with the expectation to travel and/or attend in-person meetings in regional offices as required. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing accounts with a focus on developing new clients, opportunities and our brand. Although having industrial experience is a plus, great interpersonal skills coupled with a passion for new technology and innovation is key! Responsibilities Market research and development of a prospective client database Research, identify and explore new business opportunities in conjunction with the marketing team Formalizing account objectives and strategies with Sales and Regional Leadership Maintain and manage accurate, up-to-date sales related activities in the CRM Achieving set sales targets Assist in the setup of strategic alliances by identifying, attracting and qualifying appropriate installing partners in expansion markets Support the sales cycle including identifying opportunities, leads management, client education, presentations and deliver proposals and close deals Identify SH competitive advantage opportunities and work with Sales Leadership, Regional Management and estimating on bidding and closure strategies Support local tradeshows and customer sponsored events Qualifications 3+ years of Industrial Sales Experience selling into large complex organizations such as Oil & Gas, Utilites, and/or other major corporations Posted secondary education in a related field (an asset but not required) Excellent interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills with proven track record of developing new clients Strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, and presentation skills Understanding of CRM Ability to travel within Western Canada (SK, AB, BC) Reside in Edmonton & Area, Fort McMurray & Area or Fort Saskatchewan & Area Competitive salary with performance-based wage increases Reimbursement for the cost of travel/per diem Employer-paid benefits plan including Health, Vision, Dental, Life, Disability, and EFAP Ongoing training provided We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
