Location: St. Thomas, VI Company: Popular Workplace Type: On-site Mortgage Consultant Job Type General Description Sell mortgage products to potential clients contacted through different internal channels, such as telemarketing, internet, referrals, and walk-in clients on premises units. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Interview and provide orientation to clients to offer the best available mortgage product. Make outbound calls and personal lead follow-up calls or emails to potential customers to offer mortgage products. Handle inbound sales lead calls, emails, and referrals. Assist potential walk-in customers on company premises to convert into sales. Pre-qualify potential clients according to customers' financial capabilities. Prepare good faith estimates. Evaluate costs and revenue of agreements to determine if they are profitable to continue. Originate mortgage loan applications. Review business trends and advise customers regarding expected fluctuations. Promote cross-selling of other financial services offered by the corporation. Build and maintain relationships with customers. Prepare reports of business transactions, forms, and agreements to complete sales. Follow standard operating procedures and Quality Service Standards. Assure compliance with all applicable regulations on a timely basis. Attain annual and monthly sales goals. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education + 60 Bachelor's Degree Credits Approved in Business Administration Experience At least two years of related experience.
