Immediate Position: Senior Business Analyst Location: Halifax, NS, St. Johns, NL, Fredericton, NB, or possibly remote Digital Six seeks an experienced individual for the Senior Business Analyst role, involved in project-based and client-facing engagements. The main responsibility is understanding and documenting business requirements, often translating these into technical specifications for the technology team. Candidates should possess the following: Required Experience/Skills: Analysis, modeling, and documentation of business requirements, including elicitation, business process modeling, data modeling, and use case documentation. Analysis of existing data and design of conversion processes. Participation in all phases of the system development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation. Development of detailed functional test scenarios for system validation. Assistance with conducting Functional, System, and User Acceptance Testing. Providing status reports to the project manager. Willingness to travel if required. Desired Qualifications: Care about people and demonstrate self-motivation, especially in a matrixed, virtual organization. Degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field. Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in business analysis and system support. At least 3 years of relevant experience in Health IT Systems, preferably in Pharmacy-related IT. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Experience working with government departments is an asset. Workshop facilitation skills. Familiarity with development methodologies and Microsoft Office tools, especially Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills. Initiative, planning, and organizational skills.
