Your work environment at EXP This opportunity offers a full-time career-oriented position with our growing and dynamic team of engineering professionals. We are seeking a Process Engineer to join and work in a flexible role that includes engineering and design for various technologies within the oil, gas and chemical sector. In this role, you will be a part of the Oil & Gas team, based in Brampton, ON office. What a day at EXP has in store for you Work includes conceptual studies, detailed design, field installation, and construction support in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries. PFD / HMB development. P&ID development (SmartPlant P&ID with linked database). Participation in Process Hazard Analysis (What-if/HAZID/HAZOP). Detailed hydraulic modelling (PipeFLO Professional, AFT Fathom). Engineering calculations for design and sizing of equipment. Population of Equipment/Instrumentation specifications and datasheets. Technical Bid Evaluation of equipment packages, vendor document review. Preparation of Process Control Philosophy and Plant Operating Manual Commissioning support. What Your Experience Looks Like Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or related subjects. 3-8 years experience as a Process Engineer. P&ID creation within the SmartPlant P&ID environment, including database population and report generation (piping line list, instrument list, equipment list etc). Any SmartPlant administrative experience will be considered an asset. Process Modelling Experience (Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus). Willing to travel domestically and internationally as required.
