Position Overview As a Bicycle Mechanic at Scooteretti, youll be an integral part of our service department, ensuring that every customers bike is safe, functional, and ready for the road or trail. At Scooteretti, our mechanics are trained eBike Experts who possess an in-depth understanding of advanced eBike technologies. We are committed to training and supporting new team members to achieve this expert level. Service Department Responsibilities Assemble new bikes to showroom standards, perform tune-ups, and repair customer bikes to meet and exceed company safety and quality expectations. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on electric bikes. Participate in the packing and shipping of online bike sales. Maintain a spotless, well organized, and efficient workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Manage and organize the inventory of spare parts, ensuring everything is stocked and accounted for. Update customer records and service tickets in the POS system. Participate in offsite logistics as required. Customer Service Responsibilities Ensure all customer service standards are met, delivering exceptional experiences. Clearly explain bike repair or tune-up needs to customers and recommend appropriate solutions. Collaborate with customers to understand their concerns and accurately diagnose issues. Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve them effectively. Assist with phone inquiries and direct customers to the appropriate team member when necessary. Support the sales team by assisting customers on the sales floor when needed. Process sales, returns, and exchanges using the companys POS and online systems. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in bicycle repair and assembly. Familiarity with electric bicycles and/or a willingness to learn eBike systems (e.g., Bosch, Shimano, Yamaha). Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; French language is a plus. Ability to work in a fastpaced setting, managing multiple tasks efficiently. Strong time management and problemsolving skills. Ability to work independently while contributing positively to the team environment.
