Position Overview They are seeking a motivated Financial Planning Analyst to join the finance team. This role is integral in supporting financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making across multiple mine sites. The successful candidate will work closely with operational leaders, travelling regularly to mine locations to support budgeting, forecasting, and business partnership activities. Responsibilities Travel to mine sites to support financial planning and business analysis. Gather, compile, and analyze financial and operational data. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and strategic planning. Prepare monthly financial reports, including variance analysis. Monitor capital expenditures and manage fixed asset reporting. Collaborate with business unit managers to finalize reports and resolve discrepancies. Support stakeholder reporting and assist with ad hoc financial projects. Ensure compliance with internal systems and contribute to process optimization. Uphold all company policies related to health & safety, environment, and business operations. Qualifications Bachelors degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 23 years of experience in general accounting, cost accounting, or financial analysis. Working towards CPA designation preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with cost analysis, budgeting, and project costing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
