S&T Properties is looking to fill this position on a full-time basis. While reporting to the Maintenance Manager & Project Manager, this position is located in Golden, BC. This role supports our short-term rental properties with hands-on repairs, improvements, and general upkeep. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and Project Manager, the Maintenance Specialist will work primarily in Golden, with occasional travel to Canmore and Calgary as needed. Were seeking a dependable, hardworking individual who follows safe work practices and takes pride in delivering high-quality results. The right candidate will adhere to company policies and procedures while on duty and play a key role in ensuring a seamless guest experience across our properties. Duties Use technical expertise to deliver sustainable repair solutions and property improvements Assemble and install furniture, appliances, and electronic components Paint, patch, and repair windows, doors, floors, drywall, woodwork, and other building surfaces Perform maintenance and repairs on appliances (e.g., ovens, refrigerators) Install and troubleshoot electrical components, systems, and equipment Repair electrical wiring and circuits safely and efficiently Replace damaged or worn parts of furniture, fixtures, or building systems Adjust and perform minor repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Document maintenance work and costs using the designated platform Respond to occasional urgent service calls Travel to properties in Golden, Canmore, and Calgary as required Qualifications Resourceful and creative, with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Excellent communicator, able to use designated platforms to report and collaborate Organized and capable of planning and prioritizing tasks effectively Dependable and able to work independently while following instructions from the Maintenance Manager and Project Manager Safety-conscious with a commitment to proper work practices Detail-oriented with a sharp eye for quality and finish Licensed and/or certified in relevant trades (e.g., construction, carpentry, electrical) is considered an asset Requirements Previous experience in maintenance, repairs, or a related field Experience working in short-term rental properties is an asset Valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel between properties Owns a smartphone for communication and task tracking Proficient in English (spoken and written) Compensation $27.00-$35.00 per hour How to apply Interested candidates may apply through either of the following channels: Submit your resume / application through this job ad at workingolden.ca Or email your resume directly to Please include any relevant certifications or portfolio links, if applicable.
