Responsibilities Identify clients' life and financial goals, provide comprehensive reviews, and build long-term relationships through financial planning expertise and ongoing service Conduct reporting and analysis to draw conclusions, make recommendations, and continually assess programs, policies and practices Contribute to team and department goals while strengthening customer service Monitor service and productivity, assess efficiency, and implement continuous improvements Stay knowledgeable of best practices and emerging trends Acquire and apply expertise, provide mentorship and direction to others Maintain a culture of risk management and control aligned with risk appetite Participate as a collaborative team member and support a positive, service-oriented work environment Educational Requirements University Degree (preferred) 3 5 years within the financial services industry managing client relationships and providing financial advice (preferred) Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or CFA Level 1 (or higher) required before start date Complete Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) within first 90 days CIRO Registered Representative (RR) license within first 90 days Complete Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within first 30 months Achieve Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation within first 3 years CFP Eligibility: University Degree OR up to 10 years of qualifying work experience OR have been a QAFP professional in good standing for at least 5 years Skills You Will Require Passion for financial planning and helping clients reach their financial and life goals Entrepreneurial mindset to prospect external business opportunities and experience in high-value sales Deep understanding of the industry, competitive landscape, economic issues, and regulatory environment Excellent people and problem-solving skills to build and maintain client relationships Strong communication skills with ability to work collaboratively and independently Who We Are TD is a leading global financial institution and a major bank in North America.
