What youll be doing Develop and execute proactive marketing and business development strategies to identify new clients and drive organic growth for existing key accounts. Work closely with the Business Development Director to design target account strategies, prospect lists, and implement best practices for account growth. Achieve revenue, gross margin, and account targets through strategic sales activities, including prospecting, networking, and pipeline management. Handle incoming quote requests over $10,000 for enterprise accounts and ensure orders are processed efficiently in collaboration with sales support teams. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client contracts and manage account profitability, discussing results with both internal teams and clients. Respond promptly to inquiries, issues, and customer complaints, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Lead and coordinate efforts with internal resources to support client growth and ensure the delivery of commitments made by Staples. Research, prepare, and present competitive quotes and proposals to maximize profitability and market reach. Collaborate with program and special order teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services. What you bring to the table Proven track record in B2B sales, with 35 years of sales and/or customer service experience, ideally within the Promotional Merchandise Industry. Strong business acumen in account management, strategic planning, and negotiation. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills. Ability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals. Bilingual capabilities are a plus. Whats needed Basic Qualifications Bachelors Degree or college diploma in sales, marketing, business, or equivalent work experience in a B2B sales environment. 3+ years of relevant experience in sales or customer service. Whats needed Preferred Qualifications Experience in the Promotional Merchandise Industry. CSP designation or CPSA graduate is preferred. Bilingual capabilities.
