Are you ready to design your future? Be our next Structural Designer! In this role, you will be a part of the Oil and Gas & Chemical team, based in the Brampton office. What a day at EXP has in store for you Produce structural engineering 3D models and 2D construction drawings using Smart Plant 3D, Revit and/or Cadworx software for industrial structural infrastructure such as steel racks and supports, building structures and accessories, concrete foundations, concrete and steel piles, stairs, platforms and ladders, Produce material quantity take offs Working with various CADD software including Revit, Smart Plant 3D, Cadworx The Structural Designer will work alongside more experienced engineers and designers to perform 2D drafting and 3D modeling tasks Sound understanding of the disciplines common designs and materials Produce final civil and structural deliverable drawings Work under general supervision and complete familiar assignments and solve problems of detail or presentation without direct supervision What Your Experience Looks Like Five (5) years of structural/civil experience in heavy industrial applications Expert level knowledge of the 3D design process and preparation of construction documents Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD required Proficiency in Smart Plant 3D is highly preferred Proficiency in MS Word, Excel required Positive team player Self-motivated, detail oriented and client focused Ability to prioritize tasks, met deadlines and work collaboratively on multiple projects at once Excellent verbal and written communication skills EXP subscribes to the Workplace Equity Program.
