Role description: Arcadis is seeking a driven, self-motivated professional to elevate their career by assuming the role of Oil and Gas Account Lead with respect to assessing and remediating contaminated sites. With a proven reputation for excellence in client management and business development, the candidate will help shape Arcadis growing impact across various regions by leveraging their knowledge of the oil and gas sector with respect to contaminated sites and restoration. Reporting directly to Arcadis Canada Oil and Gas Market Sector Leader, the candidate will be an integral member of the Resilience Environment Team at Arcadis. Role accountabilities: The Oil and Gas Account Lead - Contaminated Sites/Restoration will be responsible for one to multiple client account teams, expanding business development opportunities and client relationships to strategically grow Arcadis oil and gas portfolio. They will coordinate with other Arcadiss business lines to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and grow the business. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients by crafting and delivering tailored solutions for Contaminated Sites/Restoration, leading teams in preparing winning proposals, and delivering successful presentations, negotiating critical issues with clients, potential teaming partners, and subconsultants, and overseeing the planning, design, and construction administration of projects to ensure the delivery of quality services and deliverables within project schedules. The successful candidate will develop scope and cost proposals for task orders and projects, contribute to the strategic growth, planning, and support of various key market initiatives throughout the region and support the development of junior and mid-level staff. They will be expected to provide technical input on projects, and travel to project sites and client meetings as required. Key Attributes: Strong client relationship skills with a successful track record of positioning, pursuing, and winning projects in the oil and gas sector with respect to Contaminated Sites/Restoration Excellent technical engineering and/or geoscience skills and clear, concise written and oral communication abilities. Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking Proven ability to deliver key financial performance, including growth in annual net bookings and net revenue Proficient in professional discipline, project management, and client engagement Ability to lead and manage internal projects from inception to completion, ensuring the achievement of required delivery standards Achieve annual net bookings up to $5M to 10M NR and Client Experience survey results averaging 95% or above Qualifications & Experience: Required Qualifications: 10 to 15 years of experience in the oil and gas market with respect to Contaminated Sites/Restoration Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or Geotechnical) and/or Geoscience. Qualified Professional status expected with respect to Contaminated Sites Programs and/or Engineering Services P.Eng and/or P.Geo., with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) regulator required Preferred Qualifications: The successful candidate will have 5 to 10 years of relevant sales and account management experience, along with client/ project management experience on environmental and/or engineering projects of various sizes. The salary range for this position is $95,000-178,000. The base salary represents Arcadis hiring range for this position.
