Oracle Projects & Finance Support Consultant One of Millenilinks clients is hiring an Oracle Projects & Oracle Finance Consultant for a 9 month contract working out of Calgary. This opportunity is available to those in the Calgary area, or those willing to travel periodically to Calgary. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert implementing Oracle Projects and Oracle Finance as a supporting 2nd in command to the Oracle Projects and Oracle Finance Lead. This is a functional support role implementing Oracle Project and Finance specifically on Oracle Cloud and ideally have implementation experience with an oil & gas, construction or industrials end client. Overview Role description as provided: an expert with Oracle Projects Functional Support and 1-2 previous implementations including integration with Oracle Financials, Cash Management, and SCM modules on Oracle Cloud. The consultant will support the Oracle Projects and Oracle Finance Leads, ensuring functional requirements are translated into technical specifications and conducting high-level technical architecture of the solution. This role involves client-facing work primarily with accounting and finance staff, with an emphasis on understanding business, finance and accounting requirements of fracking, coil tubing, getting a well production ready, or increasing production from a well site. Responsibilities Experience as an Oracle Projects Functional Support Consultant implementing Oracle Projects on Oracle Cloud for an oil & gas, construction or industrials client Hands-on expert level configuration experience with Oracle Projects integrations with: Oracle Cash Management Oracle SCM Experience with proper taxonomy (consulting process) in Oracle Projects and WBS (Work Breakdown Structures) Experience with General Ledger Accounting Experience with Sub-Ledger Accounting Ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications in Oracle Projects Experience working with clients from a technical standpoint from design sessions/workshops, through to implementation, testing, training and deployment Experience having financials reflected in Oracle Projects Workflow from Oracle SCM to Oracle Projects Understanding how to integrate logistics behind things such as field service tickets, maintenance schedules and tracking completion Familiarity with well site services including fracking, coil tubing and the ability to interface with the client Strong track record of documentation on previous projects Excellent written and verbal communication skills Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Information Technology and Consulting Industries IT Services and IT Consulting and Business Consulting and Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
