Overview Laboratory Technician Full-Time, Hourly Posted: Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 4:00 AM Location: Niagara Falls, Ontario Position type: Full-Time, Hourly Pay range: $30.06 - $31.64 per hour What Youll Do Obtain, prepare, and analyze electric arc furnace samples, raw material samples, finished product samples, and environmental water samples. Investigate causes of out-of-spec analysis and recommend appropriate process changes. Conduct physical and chemical tests such as crushing and screening samples. Process samples for further chemical analysis at outside lab. Record test results in our computer database. Apply 5S cleaning and organizational techniques to lab equipment and supplies. Visually and/or chemically inspect breaking floors, shipments, raw materials, and furnace feed as directed. What Youll Need Post-secondary education in chemistry, quality control, or manufacturing OR 3 years of experience in an industrial laboratory. Experience in an industrial setting, preferably manufacturing. Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft products. Ability to take direction and pivot as needed.
