Responsibilities Summary Support fiscal planning and decision-making through financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting. Ensure budget management, compliance, and resource optimization. Act as primary contact for financial activities, review estimates, forecasts, and variance analysis, ensuring compliance with standards and policies. Monitor and advise on multi-year financial planning and budgeting processes. Conduct research, review financial data, identify risks, and support management reporting. Work with programs to incorporate performance data into financial analysis and identify issues. Prepare financial reports using reporting systems. Develop and maintain financial information systems and procedures. Advise on financial impacts of complex transactions and participate in policy development. Additional analysis and reporting as needed. Qualifications Education: Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or related. Credentials: CPA or CFA preferred. Experience: 3+ years in financial analysis/reporting in complex organizations. Sector Experience: Public sector accounting preferred. Skills Knowledge of financial systems and accounting. Advanced MS Office, especially Excel. Strong English communication and presentation skills. Additional Attributes Professional conduct, reliability, and deadline-oriented. Understanding of financial principles, legislation, and policies. Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide recommendations. Confidentiality and good judgment.
