Overview Our client is looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Accountant to join the corporate accounting function. This role will be focused on supporting accounting and reporting activities across the firms finance and real estate divisions, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners as needed. Key Responsibilities Prepare daily reports covering mortgages, deposits, savings, and overall cash positions Monitor and validate electronic banking activity on a daily basis Complete bank and subledger reconciliations regularly Track daily cash balances and record related journal entries Process cheque deposits and wire transfers accurately and promptly Maintain financial records, working papers, and supporting schedules Support preparation of financial statements for affiliated companies Provide documentation and schedules to external auditors as required Perform ad hoc tasks and special projects as assigned Qualifications CPA designation (completed or in progress) considered a strong advantage Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Familiarity with Sage 300 preferred, or willingness to be trained Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to work effectively under deadlines and adapt in a dynamic environment Attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset Previous exposure to financial services or real estate is an asset Location: Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada Employment type: Full-time Salary: CA$80,000.00 - CA$115,000.00 per year (range shown for context) #J-18808-Ljbffr
