We are looking for a highly motivated customer-focused leader for the position of Branch Sales Manager. As Branch Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, leading a dynamic team to achieve and exceed sales targets. Your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth by implementing effective sales strategies, motivating a sales team, and fostering strong relationships with clients. With a focus on both individual and team success, you will play a key role in expanding our market presence and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Maintain an emphasis on a safety culture, customer service, and efficiency as top priorities. Offer full-cycle sales and service to our customers (residential and commercial building markets). Manage and direct the overall operations strategy of yard so that these activities result in meeting or exceed goals. Assists credit with overdue accounts receivables and approve credit memos and return authorizations as needed. Resolve customer complaints about service delivery and product quality. Ensure accurate inputting and confirmation of sales orders, customer information and related reports which support the sales order entry process. Develop/execute sales strategy to grow revenues across all lines of business in Ontario. Attract and develop top business development talent. Highly disciplined, organized and metrics driven approach to managing and reporting on sales performance. Establish annual business development budgets, sales targets, and strategic plans. Actively identify and implement growth opportunities. Develop new and iterate existing products by engaging with customers, with an eye on the competitive environment and market conditions. Serve as a key member of the leadership team and provide input on overall business direction, foster a positive work culture, and strong collaboration with other functional leaders. Continuous learning and thought leadership while participating in industry events and organizations. A balance of strategic vision and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done. Demonstrated record of meeting and exceeding yearly sales team targets. Entrepreneurial approach to business development with a positive lets figure it out attitude and a desire to succeed. Ability to deliver on short-term targets, while implementing a long-range strategy and vision. Powerful verbal and written communication skills utilizing various medium. Excellent financial and analytical skills. Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of related work experience. A broad knowledge of building supplies. Demonstrated ability to self-manage, show initiative and be proactive. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers and customers. Demonstrated knowledge of managing a profit-making operation by setting and meeting goals. Demonstrated knowledge of overall distribution business. Advanced Microsoft Office skills. Diploma or degree in business or equivalent experience. Outstanding customer service acumen.
