The Role In a Nutshell Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identifying and researching potential clients, including property owners, developers, architects, and other stakeholders who may require construction services. Business Development & Inside Sales Support: Managing inbound inquiries, qualifying potential opportunities and scheduling appointments. Sales Strategy and Proposal Development: Working closely with Sales and Pre-Construction leadership to present solutions to potential customers. The role may involve presenting design proposals, project concepts and outlining the companys processes and capabilities. Building Relationships: Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs, and positioning the companys services to provide effective construction solutions. Proposal and Document Management: This may also involve preparing and managing quotes, contracts, and service agreements. Assisting with internal hand off, information management. Market Research and Marketing Support: Understanding market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to shape sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and service offerings. Assist with Marketing event management coordinating events, invite lists, presentations, follow ups. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with other teams like operations, marketing, and estimating departments to ensure alignment and the delivery of client expectations. Experience Required: Experience: 2-3 years of business development or inside sales experience preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM (i.e. Hubspot) experience considered an asset. Education: Related College diploma or University degree preferred. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys building relationships. Growth-Oriented: Eager to learn, adapt, and contribute to achieving ambitious company goals. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, willing to think outside the box and understands that they are the builder of their career.
