THE ROLE DETAILS Dean Thomas Design Group Luxury Home Design Firm Calgary, AB THE SCOPE The Intermediate Architectural Technologist will develop, prepare, and review working drawings, transforming sketches and notes into detailed drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp. Strong communication and organizational skills are required to liaise with clients, builders, and governing authorities. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and prepare working drawings from sketches and notes. Collaborate with team members to foster a supportive and innovative environment. Ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines. Communicate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements. Participate in team-building activities and cross-functional initiatives for continuous improvement. THE CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will hold a degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field, with 3-5 years of relevant experience in architectural design and production. You should be detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and adept at managing multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines. Experience with luxury residential projects is preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members at Dean Thomas Design Group.
