Overview Plant Manager Our client is a leading manufacturing company in the Okanagan area looking for a Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of their busy and growing consumer goods manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Direct resources to establish and implement systems and procedures to improve operational efficiency. Oversight of improvement and compliance with quality, safety, food safety (HACCP). Minimize quality costs and internal errors. Team leadership, mentorship and management in a unionized environment across manufacturing, H&S, warehousing, quality. Work closely with head office for capex projects as required. Other duties as required. Requirements Post secondary education in operations, business or related field. 5 years of senior leadership in a consumer goods manufacturing facility. Unionized leadership experience is considered an asset. Strong systems knowledge. Experience working in a fast-paced leadership role with proven results. Relocation support available to the beautiful Okanagan (Vernon / Kelowna area). Salary: 130,000 160,000 range.
