Our Canadian operation, Canaccord Genuity Corp., is currently looking for an energetic, organized and detail-oriented individual with exceptional multi-tasking and interpersonal skills to join a growing advisory team in our Edmonton office. Responsibilities Working directly with a team of Investment Advisors where the focus is on client relationships and building a sustainable wealth management business Participate in client meetings and contribute to the discovery, planning, and implementation process Prepare financial planning documents, investment proposals, and follow-up communications Process and follow-up on client documentation for proper maintenance of accounts Assist in managing client relationships and ensuring a high standard of service and responsiveness Support business development activities and contribute to the growth of the practice Perform additional administrative duties as required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services, preferably in a planning or advice capacity Strong interest in becoming a Financial Planner and working in an advice-based role Progress toward or completion of financial planning designations (CFP or QAFP) is an asset Excellent communication skills and a client-first mindset Ability to work independently and effectively with colleagues and clients at all levels Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills Experience with Dataphile, Salesforce and Conquest would be an asset All applications will be held in strict confidence.
