Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY We are currently seeking a Treasury Analyst to work in our Treasury department. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Treasury team and will be responsible for assisting the Manager, Treasury in all treasury matters related to ARCs business activities. RESPONSIBILITIES Daily cash flow monitoring and reporting, including the issuance and repayment of short-term debt, investment of excess funds, and evaluation of foreign exchange (USD/CAD) requirements Maintaining and updating the cash forecasting model Process wires payments, account transfers, payment runs and stop payments Prepare journal entries and bank reconciliations Lead the maintenance and updating of treasury systems and information in SAP Assist in managing credit exposure by preparing counterparty credit reviews, credit monthly report and assist in the establishment of credit limits Prepare weekly debt tables, forecast tables, and analysis for the weekly management meeting Prepare or review information as required for financial reporting WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO ARC Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline, ideally with 1-5 years of related experience A finance or accounting designation such as a CPA or CFA or working towards obtaining a designation Experience with SAP would be an asset Strong analytical skills with superior attention to detail in all areas of work Excellent interpersonal communication skills with an ability to enhance and maintain relationships throughout the organization Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering results under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision High level of personal integrity and exceptional work ethic High level of energy and enthusiasm Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint REWARDING OPPORTUNITY An opportunity to be part of delivering responsible energy by developing and growing your career with us Working collaboratively with, and learning from some of the most talented and experienced people in our industry A market-competitive and pay-for-performance total compensation plan, including eligibility to participate in our bonus and long-term incentive programs Top-tier benefits, wellness/healthcare spending accounts and savings plans A culture of caring and high performance Focus on health and well-being An environment where all individuals are treated fairly and respectfully, have equal access to opportunities and resources, feel a sense of belonging, and can contribute fully to the organizations success Meaningful work that makes a difference in the Canadian energy industry We thank you for your interest in ARC; however, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
