Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Compensation: Commensurate with experience Company Benefits Abt the Company: Our client sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across North America in order to ensure they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste. They are expanding at a rapid rate and are seeking to add a Forklift Technician to their dynamic team! Responsibilities: Repair and maintain various types of forklift trucks Test forklift trucks to ensure repairs are completed correctly Install, remove and/or repair attachments and accessories such as clamps, side shifters, push/pulls, lights and audible devices as required Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair batteries and chargers as needed Liaise with other technicians and team members Other duties assigned Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required 1-2 years experience as a forklift technician or auto mechanic Completion of forklift truck mechanics training course is considered an asset Ability to use hand and power tools to repair forklift vehicles Ability to read repair manuals for various types of forklift vehicle Ability to lift and carry 50lbs + Reliable transportation Able to work the morning shift or afternoon shift All applicants please forwar your resume to be considered.
