Job Title

Under the supervision of the Director of Technical Services, the project manager (dtailleur) plays a key role in coordinating our clients' projects, from understanding their needs to the final installation of equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations in conjunction with the manufacturing, delivery, and installation of reinforcing steel. More specifically, the project manager (detailer) will be responsible for: Prepare the necessary documents for the manufacture, delivery, and installation of reinforcing steel, in accordance with plans and specifications, contractual requirements, and applicable standards; Coordinate manufacturing, deliveries, and installation on site in collaboration with the relevant parties; Manage the impacts of change requests, unexpected events on site, and schedule adjustments; Produce detailed order slips for steel processing in the factory; Maintain regular communication with clients and other project stakeholders; Respond to technical requests related to construction sites; Perform all other related duties. Work location: Victoriaville, QC Technical drawing diploma or civil engineering or architecture diploma 7 years of experience in a similar position (construction); Experience in reinforcing steel and concrete structures; Excellent ability to read plans (structure and architecture); Proficiency in Autocad software and Microsoft Office suite; Knowledge of Rebarcad software (an asset); Functional English (spoken and written), due to a partially English-speaking clientele. #J-18808-Ljbffr
