Komatsu develops and supplies technologies, equipment and services for the construction, mining, forklift, industrial and forestry markets. Reports to: Senior EHS Manager Shift: 5x2 Monday to Friday Safety Sensitive: Yes drug & alcohol testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record required Travel: Up to 25% Term: 12-month contract Relocation: This position does not offer relocation Key Job Responsibilities Provide boots-on-the-ground EHS support across remote mining sites Manage training records, contractor documentation, and compliance reporting Lead incident investigations and drive corrective actions using root cause analysis Monitor regulatory changes and update policies accordingly Oversee environmental programs: spill response, waste management, audits Champion Komatsus sustainability goalscutting emissions, energy use, and waste Engage teams to build a strong safety culture from the ground up Act as a trusted advisor on all things EHS Qualifications/Requirements NCSO, CSO, or equivalent designation (or working toward it) Occupational Health & Safety Certificate 3+ years in mining, construction, or industrial EHS roles Valid drivers license and unrestricted site access Deep knowledge of OH&S and environmental regulations Strong communicator with training and presentation skills Analytical, organized, and driven to make safety second nature Additional Information This posting reflects an existing vacancy within our organization.
