Supporting the planning and execution of geotechnical investigations, from the initial proposal phase to the final report submission. Preparing borehole logs and factual investigation reports as directed. Conducting site visits to observe and document construction activities and assist with troubleshooting issues. Conducting subgrade and ground condition field inspections. Developing a thorough understanding of geotechnical concepts, particularly soil classification systems, and utilizing this knowledge for geotechnical assessments. Assisting with field activities and coordination for geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring projects. Providing support in the review and interpretation of monitoring data from geotechnical instrumentation programs. Contributing to a culture of health and safety by participating in safety-related documentation and best practices. Learning and using current geotechnical software applications. Working collaboratively with senior staff and other team members to achieve project goals. Participating in client correspondence and meetings as needed to develop an understanding of client needs and project requirements. Supporting the quality verification engineering function related to geo-structural applications and deep foundations. Other duties as assigned Position Requirements: University graduate with a Civil Engineering degree. A strong academic background. 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred. Results-driven with an ability to deliver success in a fast-paced environment. Ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives. Superb communication and interpersonal skills Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
