Job Summary Dalhousies Talent Pathways program connects equity-deserving job seekers with short-term administrative support positions across our East Coast campuses in Halifax, Truro, and Saint John, NB. You may be contacted for an introduction meeting with our Advisor, Temporary Recruitment at any time during that year. Due to provisions in our collective agreements, Talent Pathways is unable to offer student or academic positions. Temporary positions are based on the universitys operational needs and typically last 3 6 months, sometimes shorter or longer, usually no longer than one year. Temporary employees work within Dalhousies regular business hours of 8:30 am 4:30 pm unless specified otherwise. All temporary roles require short-notice availability for in-person or hybrid work at one of our campuses. Salary ranges vary by position and will be shared before any interview. Typical rates: administrative/finance positions $20.69 $29/hr; technical positions $32.24 $34.19/hr. Full-time hours are 32.5 or 35 hours/week. We look forward to potentially working with you. Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Adobe Pro). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while handling multiple priorities. Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills. Lived experience as a member of one or more equity-deserving groups.
