Overview Casual Early Childhood Educator (Students Only) Ottawa Catholic School Board Join to apply for the Casual Early Childhood Educator (Students Only) role at Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB). Job Description Under the direction of the Principal, the Early Childhood Educator: partners with the classroom teachers to plan and implement a full day early learning program; collaborates in the design of high quality and effective play-based programs and environments; supports enhanced physical, cognitive, emotional and social development within the context of a Catholic learning environment, as part of the Early Learning program team. Required Qualifications The ideal candidate will be graduating in 2025, 2026 or 2027 with an ECE diploma. Status: Casual Early Childhood Educators must be available to work on call during regular school hours at various school locations. Compensation Annual (or Hourly) Salary: These are casual positions with an hourly rate of $24.03 plus 4% in lieu of vacation. The hourly rate effective as of September 1st, 2025, is $25.03.
