The Blueprint The Site Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and processing all site office administrative tasks as well as providing support to site supervisory staff including coordination of construction trade staff. A Glimpse into your Daily Activities Provide comprehensive office administrative support to site management and assist the Site Clerk in coordinating tasks for the team. Handle telephone inquiries and assist in communication with contractors and consultants. Input daily journal entries, providing a comprehensive overview of daily site activities. Distribute drawings to trades for effective communication and coordination. Assist in liaising with and scheduling consultants and third-party services to ensure smooth project operations. Issue purchase orders for all material suppliers, managing large budgets effectively. Check deficiencies for various trades, ensuring timely identification and resolution. Responsible for completing deficiencies using the purchaser request system. Enter completions on V-team, contributing to accurate project data management. Ensure all timesheets (site staff and laborers) are prepared for Payroll in a timely manner. Uphold high standards of quality assurance in all aspects of site coordination and administration. Monitor and track site equipment and small equipment rentals, ensuring availability and proper management. The Architect of Your Success Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 1-2 years working experience, preferably in construction. Strong understanding of all work standards, site practices and processes. Experience in issuing purchase orders. Good understanding of safety protocols in a construction environment. Excellent written and verbal communication with an ability to convey information clearly and professionally. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Working Requirements Physical presence on the construction site to ensure effective coordination, supervision, and successful project execution. Exposure to various weather conditions. Understanding of the potential risks associated with construction site activities, including the possibility of injury or accidents. Requires physical mobility for site navigation, including climbing stairs and accessing different project areas.
