Position Summary: The Education and Innovation Lead plays a key role in driving excellence through the development and implementation of targeted education programs while fostering a culture of learning and innovation. This role supports the integration of new technologies and processes, ensuring a seamless transition and positive impact on resident outcomes. The incumbent is expected to live Covenant Cares and Covenant Livings mission, vision, and values in their day-to-day work, exemplifying a commitment to compassion, collaboration, and service excellence. Primary Role and Responsibility: Model the organizations mission, vision, and values, consistently representing Covenant professionally and positively. Collaborate effectively as a professional team player, supporting the achievement of Covenants mission, vision, and values. Engage and mobilize teams to fulfill Covenants mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives. Ensure consistency and excellence in clinical education and training throughout CC/CL. Design and maintain Covenant Care and Covenant Livings education program. Collaborate with CC/CL educators to design and deliver targeted education programs tailored to staff needs. Facilitate new training sessions in new technologies and applications. Create scalable and sustainable learning modules accessible to all staff. Coordinate support office orientation programming. Evaluate the effectiveness of education initiatives on staff performance and resident outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality and education standards are consistent and in line with partner organizations. Work collaboratively with operational leadership to address agreed upon gaps through education and training. Innovation Lead: Lead and manage innovation projects, leveraging best practices and emerging technologies. Drive change management efforts, guiding communities through transitions, including the adoption of new processes. Collaborate in the development of new signature programs for CC/CL communities that enhance service offerings. General Quality, Practice, and Education (QPE) Responsibilities: Serve as the Electronic Health Record and Accreditation champion. Provide mentorship, leadership, and professional development opportunities to staff. Support operational vacancies, such as SA/RCM roles and participate in on-call coverage as required. Qualifications: Current registration and good standing as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with CRNA or CLPNA. Demonstrated experience in education, training, or innovation within a healthcare or seniors care environment. Strong understanding of change management principles and their application in organizational transitions. Experience with learning management systems and the development of e-Learning content is an asset. Familiarity with emerging technologies in health care. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strategic thinker with a passion for education and innovation. Effective collaborator, with ability to work across teams with diverse stakeholders. Proactive problem-solver with strong organization and project management skills. Commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement. Valid drivers license and ability to travel within Alberta.
