Qualifications : Registered with a relevant professional college and association that regulates the controlled act of Psychotherapy in Ontario (required) Completed a relevant degree or psychotherapy diploma that provided you with experiential, real-world psychotherapy training that developed your confidence, Self and theoretical orientation. Minimum 1-5 years working as a psychotherapist ideally at an organization that provided you with lots of clinical experience. At least 100 hours of personal psychotherapy completed and ongoing commitment to personal psychotherapy that challenges you to see beyond what you can easily witness in yourself; a real commitment to develop the Self personally and professionally. At least 100 hours of clinical supervision and an ongoing commitment to learning about your professional practice in this way. Experience and training to support clients with a history of trauma a strong asset (e.g., CRM, TIST, IFS, EMDR, DBT, DDP Sensorimotor, Somatic therapy, etc.) Understanding and regular use of relational psychotherapeutic theories (Relational psychotherapy, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Self-psychology, Intersubjective theory, Satir Family Therapy, etc.) Previous experience with Case Conceptualization and treatment planning Demonstrated track record of working effectively with professional, collaborative groups Proven ability to make and sustain excellent interpersonal relationships (with clients and colleagues) Proven ability to understand, tolerate, work through, and grow from rupture and repair cycles within both client/therapist relationships and with colleagues. Strong written and verbal communication skills Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following : Engage in all orientation and training activities as required by CPYC Clinical Director and/or Clinical supervisor. Engage in bi-weekly group supervision and/or meetings at CPYC Engage in individual supervision at CPYC (weekly or biweekly as deemed necessary by the Clinical Director) Engage in 20-minute discovery calls with potential clients as requested Develop case conceptualizations and treatment plans Provide individual, couples, group, or family therapy as needed by client base and as relevant to your expertise/training. Ensure the appropriate, accurate, and timely completion of reports/clinical notes and email or phone communication with clients and colleagues in accordance with college requirements Participate in research and evaluation activities as requested Contribute 8+ blog entries, and/or vlog entries per year Complete administrative tasks as needed and requested (i.e., providing content for marketing on your behalf, responding to client and/or administrators requests, etc.) Role requires a combination of daytime and either evening or weekend schedule Schedule determined in consultation with practice regarding clients needs and office availability.
