Global Mission of the position Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will participate in working with a growing and highly motivated team in a fast-paced environment. Personal Qualities Required Physical fitness Assiduous Autonomous Accountable and dependable BIG RESPONSIBILITIES Carrying out duties assigned by the maintenance supervisor Completing scheduled work and Preventive Maintenance (PM) work Troubleshooting and repairing equipment problems Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation Repairing or replacing chains, belt conveyors, gear boxes/drive chains, hydraulic and pneumatics, welding/cutting, and using power tools Adhering to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliance Other duties and responsibilities as assigned pertaining to the job REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS AND ASSETS - TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND GENERIC SKILLS High School diploma (grade 12) or equivalent Good safety and attendance record Detail-oriented with the ability to follow exact procedures Highly motivated team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an asset Flexibility to meet changing needs within the business ENVIRONMENT AND CONTEXT Vision : To establish ourselves as the innovative leader of wood processing in Eastern Canada.
