Positions to be filled: 1 Information you must provide In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications) EDUCATION: A secondary school diploma (High School) AND completion of an acceptable training program in electronics technology or the employer-approved alternative. EXPERIENCE: EX1: Experience in performing maintenance and installations of navigational, sensors or communication systems. EX2: Experience in the delivery of life cycle management of marine or land electronic equipment and systems used for navigation, communications and informatics. EX3: Experience providing advice, guidance or recommendations to supervisors, co-workers and clients regarding marine or land electronic equipment and systems used for navigation, communications and informatics. EX4: Experience participating in the development of technical and or logistic support solutions to correct defects in systems and equipment or deficiencies in maintenance and repair practices. If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications) EXPERIENCE: AEX1: Successful completion of the Canadian Coast Guard Marine Electronic Technology Development Program. AEX2: Recent experience in supervising human resources, assigned tasks and providing oversight. AEX3: Recent experience performing Quality Control and Quality Assurance on marine or land base electronic equipment. AEX4: Recent experience in conducting ship radio inspections. AEX5: Recent experience supervising contractors' work and performance in compliance with contract conditions. Required to obtain and maintain a Health Canada Medical. Required to not be susceptible to claustrophobia, vertigo or fear of heights.
