Logistics Supervisor AGAT Laboratories AGAT Laboratories is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee the logistics chain within Laboratory Operations. The Supervisor will manage the day-to-day operations of the department, including shipping and receiving client samples and logging samples into LIMS upon receipt. This role reports to the Client Services Manager and includes department administration for logistics activities. Training can be provided to the appropriate candidate. What You Will Be Doing Supervise and mentor logistics team and drivers Ensure all samples are entered in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) accurately and promptly Document and report any sample integrity issues Inform the CPM team, sales team, and lab managers about rush and time-sensitive samples and incoming expected samples Ensure proper and accurate completion of all outgoing bottle orders Maintain availability of sample supply stock Coordinate sample pick-ups and supply deliveries to meet client expectations Identify enhancement opportunities and suggest solutions for improvement to management Ensure compliance with safety protocols and PPE policy Other duties as assigned What You Bring To The Table 2+ years of Laboratory Logistics experience Proactive mindset with ability to plan and develop strategies for improved efficiency Supervisory experience is an asset Ability to prioritize Intermediate computer skills Problem-solving skills University science degree is preferred Why Join Us?
