Overview Join to apply for the Intermediate Accountant role at RECRUITMENT PARTNERS INC. Our Client, a leading wholesale distributor with locations across Western Canada, is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a solid foundation in accounting principles and a collaborative mindset. Your success will be defined by your ability to: Perform general ledger reconciliations and journal entries Support month-end and year-end close processes Conduct bank, credit card, and inventory reconciliations Assist with GST/PST calculations and filings Maintain accuracy of financial data and ERP system integrity Support inventory and cost accounting (e.g., landed costs, freight-in, COGS) Manage capital assets and prepaid expenses Assist with audit preparation and compliance reporting Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and warehousing Provide backup support for AP and AR functions Contribute to process automation and efficiency improvements Qualifications & Skills 3+ years of relevant accounting experience with a relevant Diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance Actively pursuing CPA designation Strong Excel and general computer proficiency Excellent communication and organizational skills Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and accountable Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Business Central, Gartman) is an asset Job Details Seniority level : Mid-Senior level Employment type : Full-time Job function : Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industries : Staffing and Recruiting If you are interested in this role and meet the above criteria, please click the Apply button to send your resume directly to Shae Nesselbeck .
