Primary Purpose : Reporting to the Order Fulfillment (Picking) Supervisor, the eCommerce Team Lead is primarily responsible for leading functions within the Distribution Centre to ensure a consistent flow of product. The ideal candidate will be efficient, have good communication skills, and be highly motivated in a fast-paced work environment. Duties and Responsibilities: Leading the daily order fulfillment eCommerce duties Ensuring that established standards of order fulfillment, maintenance, and productivity are being achieved Ensuring that operational procedures are being followed Ensuring orders are accurately assembled and efficiently placed into the correct packing station for outbound distribution Loading and unloading of product Palletizing of cartons Maintaining a healthy and safe environment Providing guidance and mentoring Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor Job Specifications: Preferably a minimum of a 2+ year college program/diploma in a related business/logistics field or 3 years of relevant experience Overall understanding and experience working in a distribution centre environment and with warehouse management systems Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to produce results under pressure in a fast-paced work environment using tact and camaraderie Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders Exhibits autonomy and takes initiative with daily tasks while also being a team player Compliance with work instructions and health and safety standards Shifts start in the afternoon (3:30 PM - 11:00 PM) Overtime as required based on seasonal business needs, including weekends At Roots, we appreciate that skills and expertise are cultivated through a range of experiences.
