Residential Community Manager (On-Site) - Pickering Purpose Responsible for effectively managing a residential property while providing the highest level of customer service to residents and owners. Operate within our standards of safety, quality customer service, and efficient operations. Duties & Responsibilities Management of Staff: Supervise and manage operational staff working on and around the property. Ensure effective performance management of staff. Customer Service Relations: Maintain top-tier customer service for residents and owners. Communicate effectively with residents and relevant parties, addressing concerns promptly. Manage resident functions to foster respect and goodwill. Focus on resident retention. Handle resident and owner complaints promptly and appropriately. Administration: Monitor rent collection, reconciliation, and ensure compliance with relevant statutes. Communicate with residents regarding rent, and organize eviction processes if necessary. Code and approve invoices from suppliers and contractors. Review and approve rental applications. Building Maintenance: Conduct inspections of vacant units, noting deficiencies and preparing reports. Schedule and coordinate maintenance work. Place service calls and coordinate contracted work. Regularly inspect common areas and address deficiencies. Propose improvements to management processes. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies within 15 minutes. Qualifications Education Preference: College Degree. Must read and write English fluently, perform intermediate mathematical functions, and use property management software. Experience Minimum two years experience in residential property management or related field. Skills and Abilities Align with company values of Honesty, Integrity, Respect, and Trust. Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficient with computers and software. Motivated to learn and grow. Knowledge of maintenance requirements, vendor, and contract management.
