Overview Instructional Designer role at Clio. Clio is a global leader transforming the legal experience by bettering the lives of legal professionals and increasing access to justice. This role is part of the Customer Education team and is based in Burnaby or Toronto. What youll work on Creating engaging online learning content: Collaborate with internal teams to conduct learning needs analyses, define strategic training programs, and drive measurable business results for customers. Produce a wide range of learning assetsincluding documentation, video scripts, software simulations, instructorled courseware, training scenarios, and certification examsgrounded in deep product knowledge and realistic user scenarios. Build crossfunctional partnerships to integrate educational content into company-wide initiatives and keep materials updated with Clios product roadmap. Strategizing and designing customer learning experiences: Develop an expert understanding of Clios customer segments and rolebased personas to create tailored training plans that ensure customers take the right courses at the right time. Analyze learning analytics and user feedback to recommend improvements to existing courseware and upcoming projects. Perform administrative responsibilities and implement AIenabled optimizations in Clios customerfacing Learning Management System, including learning track creation, course uploads, user management, reporting, certification tracking, and troubleshooting. Managing projects, operations, and business systems: Follow established development methodologies to build training content and maintain deliverables with customer feedback and product enhancements. Contribute to Instructional Design operations by suggesting enhancements to intake processes, project management, and roadmap planning. Seek creative ways to produce content that engages our audience and scales. What you may have 23 years of instruction design, eLearning, and content authoring in a fastpaced, highgrowth environment. University degree in a related field (e.g., media, production, learning, social sciences, marketing, or business administration). Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and competing priorities with a proven track record. Experience with eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, WalkMe), instructorled platforms (e.g., Google Slides, PowerPoint, Zoom, Teams), and experience with a Learning Management System (LMS). Demonstrate interest in improving your craft using AI. Ability to quickly get up to speed on our industry and product offerings. Bonuses A university degree in a related field (as listed above).
