Overview Project Controls Coordinator role at Aecon Group Inc. in the Shoreline Power Group, located in Kincardine, Ontario. This position reports to the Project Controls Cost Manager and provides project controls support to ongoing projects and the project controls teams in the deliverables they provide. Responsibilities Coordinate and develop reporting documentation on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for the Joint Venture Provide support to the project team for project control activities, including estimating, proposals, cost systems (including SAP and P6), change management, schedule review, project reporting, and related processes Learn and operate within project-specific contract conditions Participate in customer and internal management project status reporting meetings as required Aid cost control and project accounting groups as required Interface between the project controls team and the engineering/construction team Support in summarizing project status into effective communication tools (presentations, posters, etc.) for team effectiveness Actively engage in all engineering, procurement, quality, and construction matters to understand project status Assist with coordination of change orders and tracking What You Bring to the Team 1-3 years of related experience is preferred College and/or University degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience Proficient written communication skills (report writing) Knowledge of SharePoint applications is an asset Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with a large team Intermediate to expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel Power BI capabilities are considered an asset Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks within a high-pressure work site environment Interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees Willingness for continuous learning and advancement of technical knowledge Detail oriented with a customer focus Aecon fosters diversity, inclusion and belonging within and across our organization.
