Overview As an Account Manager, Lease & Rental, you will exceed budget goals and grow your department by providing exceptional front-line customer service for clients requiring rentals and who have general rental and lease inquiries. You will follow prospective customer leads, effectively determine customers needs, and match our products features and benefits to those needs. This role ensures the lease and rental experience produces profitable results for the company while developing long-term customer relationships with potential for additional sales across all divisions; controls Company costs through effective check-in/check-out procedures and related administration. Responsibilities Leasing Duties: Performs full service leasing sales process: cold calling prospective customers and following up on leads; preparing quotes; advising existing customers on suitable products, answering inquiries and arranging for customization of orders; managing existing accounts; closing deals by negotiating terms, gaining approval, preparing contracts and explaining all documents and conditions. Rental Duties: Processes customer rental requests and performs related administration, such as quoting rates and unit availability, preparing contracts, updating registration and preparing invoices. Performs daily yard check of units and communicates with other branches and departments; creates damage estimates occurred to unit and provides to customer. Contacts established and potential new customers to increase rental sales. Ensures unit is prepared for delivery. Other duties as assigned, such as after-hours calls, mediation with service and accounting depts. Ideal Qualifications 3 to 5 years front-line customer service and sales experience preferred 3+ years in the truck & trailer (or related) industry preferred Experience in full-service commercial lease sales preferred Understanding of heavy-duty trucks & trailers and their applications preferred Understanding of fleet maintenance practices an asset Valid Drivers License and own vehicle; Class 3 License an asset Sales/ Business Administration education an asset Customer service and sales focused Ability to prospect and cold-call new customers and up-sell products Easily builds rapport and relationships with people at all levels Strong negotiation, listening, and closing skills Shows initiative and ability to work independently Regularly sets / meets priorities and long term goals Attentive to detail, shows accuracy in work Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PPT/Outlook Ability to complete ongoing product sales training Ability to learn in-house business programs; Karmak knowledge is an asset Ability to work outdoors while conducting vehicle checks #J-18808-Ljbffr
