Why this role is important: The Production Team Lead will assist the Pharmacy Operations Management Team in overseeing day-to-day workflow within Operations, ensuring optimal customer service to MediSystem clients, supporting staff needs, and achieving daily team and company objectives. The PA Lead will provide coaching and leadership, and participate in supporting the integration of Pharmacy Assistants into the pharmacy. The incumbent may perform Pharmacy Assistant duties as necessary, including proper fulfillment of orders. What youll do Oversee workflow processes to prioritize and manage efficiencies within the team. Work weekends and statutory holidays as required. Act as liaison between the Pharmacy Operations Management Team and team members; communicate team performance, workloads, and client needs. Organize and manage team workloads and priorities. Provide effective leadership and regular coaching to improve productivity and development, and keep the team informed on current and new processes. Meet regularly with the Pharmacy Management team to share information, solve problems, improve efficiencies, and develop policies and procedures. Review operations and performance indicators; participate in onboarding, goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews with Pharmacy Operations Management Team. Collaborate with the Pharmacy Operations Management Team to set performance goals for the operation. Ensure proper daily staffing levels to optimize performance and efficiency. Ensure proper receipt, storage, maintenance, security of pharmaceuticals and inventory and company property. Support integration of new team members into the organization. Communicate with customers to provide information and feedback regarding inquiries. Ensure completion of tasks within the operation and compliance with guidelines and standards. Contribute to setting customer service standards with the Operations Manager and ensure these standards are met. Maintain ongoing staff communications on client service matters to support high client satisfaction with MediSystem services. Build and lead diverse teams that foster inclusiveness and belonging. Qualifications Minimum of three (3) years of pharmacy work experience. Minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience; demonstrated ability to manage others and build effective teams. Knowledge of current pharmacy operations is an asset; ability to acquire working knowledge within 3 months. Knowledge of drug names and ability to interpret prescriptions is an asset. Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple computer systems quickly. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organization and time management skills. Excellent leadership, communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Team player with ability to work with minimal supervision. High attention to detail.
