Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilledPhysiotherapistto join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and families, providing evidence-based physiotherapy services that support the development of movement skills, physical health, and overall well-being. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to create a holistic treatment plan for each child. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physical needs, movement abilities, and motor skills of each child. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, targeting gross motor skills, strength, balance, coordination, and functional mobility. Provide physiotherapy interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and movement strategies, to improve physical functioning and quality of life. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals (e.g., Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Psychologists) to ensure a coordinated approach to care. Educate families and caregivers on exercises, strategies, and home programs to enhance the childs progress and independence. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies. Stay up-to-date with research, best practices, and professional development opportunities in pediatric physiotherapy. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited program. Current registration with theCollege of Physiotherapists of Alberta (CPTA)or other relevant professional body. Experience working with children, particularly those with neurodiverse or neurodevelopmental needs, is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and other professionals. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of pediatric physiotherapy best practices and treatment techniques. #J-18808-Ljbffr
