We are working with a leading UK manufacturing company in the advanced power-train market. They have an exciting opportunity for an Instrumentation Technician to test electrical systems of hybrids and EVs, at the European research and development centre of excellence. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Work to procedures to deliver safe and defect-free instrumentation solutions Produce electrical looms to connect power-trains to machines Implement data acquisition solutions for power-train testing Diagnose and fix data logging system and sensor faults Work from engineering electrical drawings Travel to test and development facilities, including some overseas facilities Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work area Participate in training and further learning as needed Skills, Experience & Qualifications: Knowledgeable in instrumentation and its applications Ideally, experience in instrumentation and/or data acquisition sensors Working towards or completed relevant higher education (e.g., NVQ Level 3) Good PC skills, including Microsoft Office and CAT-designed software Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire Type: PAYE Rate: 16.50 to 18.00 per hour DOE Travel: 5% of the time RHL Recruitment acts as an employment agency and recruitment services provider.
