Job Description: The HTS Sudbury team is in full growth mode and is seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working individual who will work under the direction of the Sudbury team and the Ottawa Controls Manager. You will be responsible for working on both building automation systems and HVAC equipment out of our Sudbury office. Travelling to sites in northern Ontario will be required as well as travelling to Ottawa for some training. Responsibilities: Assist in completing the maintenance, repair, setup, detailed commissioning, and system diagnostics of BAS systems. Assist with the service and maintenance on a wide variety of HVAC equipment including Package Rooftop Units, MUAs, Boilers, ERVs, Condensing Units. Assist with startup and commissioning of newly installed HVAC equipment as per manufacturers specs. Troubleshoots all makes of HVAC equipment and low voltage electrical, communication wiring, hardware installation and configuration, DDC programming and general system performance issues. Keeps Senior Technician and/or management informed of job progress and issues. Adheres to HTS and job site safety standards and procedures. Performs site-specific training for owner/operator on systems. Coordinates work with other job site trades. Provide recommendations for improvements The selected candidate would have the opportunity to register for a 313A apprenticeship Skills/Qualifications: High level of commitment to customer service 1-3 years of experience in the HVAC/BAS field Excellent documentation and communication skills. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Requires a self-motivated team player capable of managing multiple priorities. Must possess a valid Drivers license in good standing. Hold and maintain licenses and certificates associated with the HVAC Trade (313A, G2, Etc) Bilingualism French and English would be a strong asset.
