Overview Join to apply for the Service Technician II role at All Weather at Home . This is the Calgary Service department role, focused on on-site service calls and customer experience. Responsibilities Customer Communication & Negotiations Engage with customers to negotiate cost allocation for damaged products and maintain positive relationships. Address customer concerns and suggest solutions to ensure satisfaction while representing the company's best interests. Outcome: Satisfied customers and fair allocation of costs. Inspection, Troubleshooting & Repairs General Service Technician: Assess and repair damaged installations/products; order replacements if necessary. Lock-Out Service Technician: Inspect homes pre-possession, identify deficiencies, and provide reports recommending corrective actions. Glazer Service Technician: Replace glass on-site, including handling heavy products and working on scaffolds. Outcome: Properly installed, defect-free products and homes ready for possession. Scheduling & Documentation Plan daily service runs, minimize travel and maximize efficiency. Maintain service vehicle and ensure thorough, accurate repair documentation. Outcome: Well-organized itineraries, punctual repairs, and precise paperwork. Supervision & Training Train and supervise junior Service Technicians by delegating tasks and monitoring progress. Outcome: Skilled employees prepared to take on expanded responsibilities. Are you built for this? Post secondary from a skilled trade or construction background is an asset Technician experience with some product knowledge preferred Warehouse, manufacturing, and/or construction industry experience an asset Experience using hand and power tools Customer Service experience Mechanical aptitude Good communication skills (written and verbal) Innovative and Problem Solving Mechanically inclined and able to work on scaffolding at heights over 12 feet Must be able to lift at least 50lbs Must be physically fit to perform heavy lifting of glass Must be a team player and able to work with minimal supervision Flexible and adaptable in any situation Position will require working overtime and short notice Travel may be required Must have a valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract Must pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Testing Whats in it for you?
