Job Description: Are you a skilled 421A Mechanic seeking an exciting opportunity in the metal recycling industry? If you have experience in maintaining and repairing heavy machinery and equipment, this role is for you! Responsibilities include: Perform maintenance, repair, and diagnostics on heavy machinery used in metal recycling Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Complete repairs and replacements adhering to safety and quality standards Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritize tasks Maintain accurate maintenance records Follow all safety protocols during maintenance and repairs Qualifications: Valid 421A Heavy Equipment Technician License Experience as a 421A Mechanic, preferably in an industrial setting Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Ability to read manuals and schematics Proficient in diagnosing equipment issues Strong safety commitment and adherence to regulations Physical ability to handle job demands, including lifting and working in various weather conditions Additional details: Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Other Industry: Utilities This job posting is active and not expired. #J-18808-Ljbffr
