Reporting to the Manager, Central Planning, this position supports the delivery of central merchandising planning by analyzing data and generating reports using database management skills. The role includes assisting in directing and managing the development and implementation of the enterprise planning system to connect and track business commitments such as inventory level, fill rate, purchase order status, suppliers performance, and ongoing shipments. Collaboration with internal teams (IT, Merchandising, Operations) and external vendors is vital to the success of this role. T&T Supermarket Inc. was founded in 1993 with two stores in BC and has since expanded to become Canadas largest Asian supermarket chain with 37 stores nationwide. The company plans further expansion in the coming years. Responsibilities Monthly sales/inventory review to analyze abnormal sales history and review projections or forecasts on sales, gross margin, and inventory accuracy Design and maintain replenishment data in systems in a timely manner Manage vendors and collaborate with shipping teams to ensure products arrive on time Meet replenishment KPIs (DOH, fill rate, in-stock rate); maintain purchasing records; prepare summary statistical analyses; monitor safety stock level, fulfillment rate, and inventory turnover Work with the manager to maintain and generate performance reports at all levels (category/department/merchandise category/SKU) Extract data and prepare summary statistical analyses Assist in documenting and executing best practices and processes for developing, modifying, and configuring enterprise planning system services and integrations; review related documents and ensure knowledge transfer within relevant teams Provide support and troubleshooting for the enterprise planning system and related systems; communicate incident status with manager to ensure resolution Enhance forecast accuracy by monitoring and addressing forecasting errors Provide feedback on capacity risks and supply issues to merchants and planning partners as necessary Collaborate with the manager to provide data to relevant departments for accurate consolidations and to align supply and demand Perform other duties and projects as directed Qualifications Bachelors degree in business administration, business analytics, mathematics, supply chain management, or related disciplines 1-2 years experience in the supply chain field (mandatory) Experience in a fast-paced environment; background in strategy consulting, corporate strategy (retail), or supermarket chain store operations is preferred Knowledge of ERP systems; understanding of replenishment concepts is an asset Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment Analytical thinking with the ability to identify alternatives to solve problems Ability to work effectively under pressure with sound decision making and handling confidential matters Excellent time management, interpersonal, organizational, relationship-building, and negotiation skills; ability to engage with all levels inside and outside the organization Advanced computer skills in MS Word, Excel (formulas, macros), Outlook, and PowerPoint Employee Benefits Quarterly discretionary bonus Life/AD&D insurance Extended health/dental/vision care Paid annual/sick/marriage/bereavement leave Subsidized staff meal In-store staff purchase discount Shift 5-day work week (Monday to Friday), 9:00am 5:30pm Safety Statement Safety continues to be T&T Supermarkets top priority.
