Job Description Our Construction Phase Services group located in our Markham, Whitby, Toronto, and Mississauga Offices is looking for a Contract Administrator to work as part of a contract administration team on Highway / Road / Bridge construction projects. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Contract Administration of civil provincial and municipal infrastructure projects Liaising with Project Managers, designers, field inspectors, contractors, and clients Managing staff and departmental initiatives with Construction Administration Project Management staff Developing project policies related to quality, safety, environment, and ethics Supervising field staff Conducting Constructability Reviews on Highway and Bridge projects Liaising with clients for future construction opportunities Responsibilities Supporting external communications systems Supervising construction projects within operational systems Following HSE policies, instructing team on safe practices, and managing risks Assigning work schedules to team members Communicating plans and motivating team to meet goals Monitoring performance and providing coaching Ensuring organizational compliance and quality assurance Qualifications OACETT rcca or P.Eng. designation Minimum 10 years experience in Civil Engineering Infrastructure Experience as Contract Administrator on large municipal or regional contracts Strong estimating skills, experience with progress payments and change orders Excellent organizational, communication, and conflict resolution skills Proficiency in MS Word and Excel GHD values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer.
