Overview Account Manager I (Temporary 12 Months) - Grand Forks Branch at Beem Credit Union. We are looking for an Account Manager I to join our Grand Forks Branch on a temporary 12-month basis. As a member of the Sales and Service team, you will play an important role in achieving the organizations strategic goals and promoting our corporate vision. You will develop existing and potential member relationships, serving both lending and deposit needs, and promote and complete the sales of a full range of deposit products and related services. Within approved lending authority and corporate policy, you will promote, process and approve retail credit applications for all types of credit, including mortgages, personal loans, lines of credit, and credit cards. You will provide basic information and service related to estate accounts and refer more complex banking needs to the appropriate staff. You will participate in sales promotions, campaigns and objectives to help your team achieve its goals. What this role is all about: We are looking for an Account Manager I to join our Grand Forks Branch on a temporary 12-month basis. What youll do Achieve strategic goals and promote corporate vision. Promote Products and Services and Meet Member Needs Fulfill member needs through identification of sales opportunities; prepare and execute documentation for all types of deposit accounts, including personal, demand, term and registered. Directly promote sale and service of all other banking services offered by the Credit Union. Interview credit applicants (including self-employed), compile personal financial information, credit reports, property appraisals and other applicable information to determine credit worthiness. Grant loans within approved authority and corporate policy; present detailed recommendations for loan approvals beyond authority level and/or requests for exception to policy. Prepare and execute a variety of loan documents including origination, alterations, renewals, security substitutions, payment suspensions and related transactions. Prepare instructions to solicitors and notaries to meet the Credit Union and member needs. Address general member inquiries regarding wills, probate and administration of estates; establish liaison with members accounting and legal representatives and refer more complex estate issues to appropriate resources. Resolve day-to-day member service issues related to the duties above. Teamwork, Productivity and a Positive Attitude Instruct loan administration staff to disburse proceeds in accordance with loan approval conditions and corporate policy. Assist with the collection of delinquent loan accounts. Provide assistance to coworkers when opportunities arise. What you will bring Secondary School Diploma Minimum 2 years' experience in the sale and service of consumer financial products, preferably in a Credit Union setting Proficiency with Office software (word processing and spreadsheets) Ability to work in a team environment with shared duties and responsibilities Strong problem solving and time management skills; ability to work independently, prioritize, meet deadlines and exercise sound judgment Professional, friendly and knowledgeable member service Equivalent combinations of education, experience and skills may be considered What you will gain Starting salary of $53,299.48.
