We are growing and are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Heavy Equipment Preventative Maintenance (PM) Field Technician to join our Team. Position Summary The Heavy Equipment PM Field Technician works with our PM Manager to respond to service calls at customer locations. At the job site, they are primarily responsible for completing P.M services and detailed checklists. Other responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment to help ensure optimal performance. This role involves working in the field and at client locations to address equipment issues promptly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities The PM Field Technician is responsible for completing quality repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of equipment in and around Calgary. Completing thorough preventative maintenance services as set out by our checklists and identifying possible failures before they lead to downtime. Completing equipment diagnostics and competently communicating issues with customers and management. Maintain a professional, clean, and organized work environment at all times. Additional tasks as related to the position from time to time. Qualifications Good communication skills and a positive attitude. 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technicians will be considered. Journeyman Automotive Technicians will also be considered. 2 years minimum construction equipment experience. Have a complete set of hand and air tools. Specialty diagnostic equipment and large tools will be supplied. Physically fit and able to meet the demands of heavy equipment field repairs. Knowledge of equipment, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostics. Able to read and apply electrical and hydraulic schematics to assist in diagnostics. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Class 3 license an asset but will provide training for successful candidate.
